Photo from Forbes India

The 5th of June, World Environment Day, a day to spread awareness and to educate about the environment. Every year, many people worldwide celebrate it in many ways. Therefore, this kind of spirit is what makes it impactful. Many people are taking action and vice versa.

Let’s look at this matter in a different way.

First Scenario Everyone is well-aware about the importance of the environment, about all the threats that climate change brings to us and why it is essential for us to take action immediately. Seeing this, we know that humanity will move forward. The world would be so beautiful.

Who knows, World Environment Day might even become a holiday worldwide, bringing humans and Earth together. Humans get to carry out interesting activities that help us go through the world environmental crisis. Our contribution would even be recorded in history.

The world, in harmony, is what we want, right?

Second Scenario

Opposite to the above scenario, only a part of human society is willing to put hands together to achieve a better world. In a few decades, our beloved Earth will start to rot, with us the ones to suffer. In other words, we did this to ourselves if we don’t take action now.

Can you imagine our world progressively getting worse because we didn’t do anything when we had the chance to? The guilt we’ll bear. It’s not a few people being in this together, it’s a few billions of people.

The future of the younger generation, gone. Your future, gone. Environmental crisis is a world crisis. It is a threat. It is a danger that would put all of us at risk, causing outcomes that we do not want.

Ever thought of the end of the world? If we keep ignoring all these environmental issues, we’re pushing ourselves there. We don’t want that. Nobody wants that.

Conclusion

It’s not too late, it’s never too late. If everyone spread awareness, we could all come together. In the hopes of a better world. All the simple actions we could do to prevent the world falling into misery. Tragic, I’ll say. We do not want that, don’t we? A better future awaits us, a path that we’ll walk on to.

In the future, all the efforts that we made now shall not go to waste. A better future for all of us. All because we came together and we decided to take action. Action speaks louder than words, bear that in mind.

It’s okay if you don’t know how to contribute. You can always search it up online as the internet is the biggest proof of the progress of the world being more advanced.

The environment is the most important thing for humans to survive, for us to live. If we lose it all, what do we have left?
